The Rolleiflex Legend

Ok, it’s a long time since I published on this blog. The problem is that my move went for long and between the forced inactivity and the cartons still to be opened, I have not been able to develop some rolls which are waiting for months. But a true blogger can not leave his readers with no new posts for too long. So I went to rummage in the archive and I pulled out some shots. These images come from the first roll which I took with my Rolleiflex Planar 3,5F more or less a year ago.

The film was Acros 100  developed in Rodinal (semi-stand) 1: 100. Well, the photographs speak for themselves …. There is not much to say: the Rolleiflex  is always …. Rolleiflex!

A few notes about the first photo: contrary to the usual, I made (digitally) some dodging and burning, to simulate as much as possible the result achieved in the darkroom.

Ok, è parecchio tempo che non pubblico niente su questo blog. Il problema è che il mio trasloco è andato per le lunghe e, tra la forzata inattività e gli scatoloni ancora da sistemare, non sono ancora riuscito a sviluppare alcuni rullini che mi aspettano da mesi. Ma, un vero blogger non può lasciare i suoi lettori senza nuovi post per troppo tempo. Sono così andato a rovistare nell’archivio ed ho tirato fuori alcuni scatti. Queste immagini provenngono dal primo rullo che ho scattato con la mia Rolleiflex 3,5F Planar più o meno un anno fa. La pellicola era un’Acros 100 ed è stata sviluppata in Rodinal (semi-stand) 1:100. Beh, le fotografie parlano da sole…. c’è poco da dire: la Rolleiflex è sempre la…. Rolleiflex!

Qualche considerazione sulla prima fotografia: contrariamente al solito, ho effettuato (digitalmente) alcuni interventi di mascheratura e bruciatura, per simulare il più possibile il risultato ottenibile in camera oscura.
