Recently, I’ve been quite busy both for purely professional reasons, both for participation in an important collective photographic project. The State of Things, this is its name, is a project of social and documentary photography, entirely self-financed and self-released, carried on by about 40 italian photographers, which aims to keep alive the attention of public opinion and institutions towards the situational city of L’Aquila (and vicinity), struck seven years ago by the disastrous earthquake that has devastated not only the urban aspect, but also the entire social and economic life. For this reason, I had to slow down both my usual shooting pace with the film, and the publication of new posts on this blog. But, I could not leave alone too long my loyal readers, and so, I had already prepared some material to be published in this period. Here is the second part of my tests carried out with the Canon 3000N, this time loaded with Kodak Trix.
Little to say about the results, if not confirming previous experience, both with the camera and with the lens already tested previously, and on the success of the Trix souped in Ilford DD-X that allows to expose the film @ box speed without creating excessive contrast problems.
In this roll I even made some shots with the Canon 50mm f/1.8 II and the prestigious Leitz Summicron R (II Series) 50mm f/2 (used with an appropriate adapter Leica R -> Canon Eos bought for a few Euros) but these elements deserve further tests devoted exclusively to them to be made in the future.

Recentemente, sono stato molto impegnato sia per motivi puramente professionali, sia per la partecipazione ad un importante progetto fotografico collettivo. Lo Stato delle Cose, questo il suo nome, è un progetto di fotografia sociale e documentaristica, interamente autofinanziato ed autoprodotto, che ha lo scopo di mantenere viva l’attenzione dell’opinione pubblica e delle istituzioni verso la situzione della città de L’Aquila (e dintorni), colpita 7 anni fa dal disastroso terremoto che ne ha sconvolto non solo l’aspetto urbano, ma anche l’intero tessuto sociale ed economico. Per questo motivo, ho dovuto rallentare sia i miei abituali ritmi di scatto con la pellicola, sia la pubblicazione di nuovi post su questo blog. Ma, non potevo lasciare soli troppo a lungo i miei affezionati lettori e così, avevo già pronto un po’ di materiale da pubblicare in questo periodo. Ecco quindi la seconda parte del mio test effettuato con la Canon 3000N, questa volta caricata con la Kodak Trix.
Poco da dire sui risultati, se non che confermano le precedenti esperienze, sia con la fotocamera e lo zoom di serie già testati in precedenza e sulla buona riuscita dell’accoppiata Trix/Ilford DD-X che permette di esporre la pellicola alla velocità nominale di 400 Iso senza creare problemi di eccessivo contrasto. In questo rullo ho anche effettuato qualche scatto con il Canon 50mm f/1,8 II ed il prestigioso Leitz Summicron R (II serie) 50mm f/2 (usato tramite un apposito adattatore Leica R -> Canon Eos da pochi euro) ma questi elementi meritano un ulteriore approfondimento esclusivamente dedicato a loro da effettuare in futuro.
